And do they usually come out right?
Most companies that sell by the can, jar, box, bag, or packet will have recipes on their sites for various dishes, even not directly involving their core use. For example, a salsa company with a recipe for a chicken entree, which isn’t usually the “core” purpose of salsa, which is mainly to dip chips in

My mom saw this a long time ago , Tomato soup, diced onion, brown up some pork chops (debone as t he pork breaks up ) , then toss in a crockpot, and then before serving mix in some rice. If you cook a lot, you may not want to dump the cooked rice in as it will get mushy.
A modern take is to use cauliflower instead of rice.

I found lots are very great with minor tweaking, and good as is. I’ve been using them more and more.
I despise many personal online recipes these days. All of them, no matter what you are looking for, have 37 million words about their life, 700 pop up/video/and auto play ads, 14 corporate call outs, and somewhere, a short recipe. All of them. I get they need to make money, but my god, it is unbearable anymore. So for that reason, I've been more interested in manufactures recipes. Some are better than others, sure, but with a little intuition, you can weed the bad out, and perfect the good.

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. I use the recipes on Bisquick for my pancakes, and shortcakes. Perfect. I use the recipe for hot cocoa on the can of Hershey’s cocoa, except I often add a little almond extract.
And everyone knows you follow the recipe for green bean casserole on the side of the french onion can. Everyone.

I have a few. But they have been modified to my tastes. 2 favorites are a n awesome tortilla chicken soup and a make ahead breakfast bake (it sits overnight in the fridge before cooking)

Used aunt Jemima’s recipe for a Taco casserole and it was delicious.
